Erik Yahnkovf is a household name in the techno scene in Mexico and beyond. Born and raised in Mexico he is one of the most important DJ & Producers in Latin America, with a very solid career since 2008.


Signed on many prestigious techno labels around the world like: Bluefin, Natura viva, Gain Records, Naked Lunch, Frequenza records, Trapez, Complex, Jeton, Sin Sin, Noise Music, Eclipse recordings just to name a few. His releases are being played and supported by great DJs like: Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, DJ Rush, Mauro Picotto, Lützenkirchen, Mike Väth, Maceo Plex, Anderson Noise, Noir, Nihil Young, Kerstin Eden, Slam, A.paul, drumcomplex and more.


His EP on Trapez kicks off with "Adios Ayer" and you can directly detect from the groove the South American funk for which he is known and which accounts for his success. Let us invite you to cool industrial sounding drums and a big portion of exotica.


"Deslumbramiento" injects more drama and noisy sounds to create at times more of a wall of sound with a British side to it.


"Sol De Medianoche" sounds more raw and electronic with feedback sounds and electrostatic sounds conquering the walls of mighty drums and massive beats. This track has a strong continuum of sounds and rhythm to create a hypnotic state for the dancers.
