Euripides, also known as Euripides Sideras, is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from Larnaca, Cyprus.

He has released neoclassical music on one side and brilliant house music on the other, and one could say these are a greatly beneficial force at work here. He discovered electronic dance music at the age of 17 and played various clubs in Cyprus and Greece. He moved to Los Angeles to study sound engineering and earned a diploma in music production from Berklee College of Music. He released music on KX, the sub label of German label Kompakt and signed production music to an award winning music library. Euripides is passionate about music, and his new 5-track EP "Away" feels like a mini album. It’s a heartfelt dive into house music, shaped by the skills and emotional depth he has developed over years of making music.


The EP opens with its title track "Away". Offering in the beginning a slow and unique build up, it is obvious the ascending energy will lead to something very special. When in the course of the track the melodies gain track and their spectrum widens, it is all about the heartfelt intense momentum which hits you with full force.


"The Fire Still Burning Hot" starts atmospheric with a feeling of "Insomnia" and develops into an epic piece of pleasure. It features stunning vocals and parts of the emerging melody reminds us of New Wave band "Love and Rockets".


"Run F Run" has a shimmering quality, with energy that rises and falls in waves, building an intense vibe without ever hitting a full-blown peak. At half time it plunges into a deep, epic break that feels like exploring uncertain places and unfamiliar territory. From there, it gathers momentum, cycling up with a sense of tension and expectation that keeps you hooked. Just when the anticipation peaks, the beats and rhythm kick back in, pulling you right back into the groove.


“Luminous Moment" is a fantastic groover with more than just one musical momentum. It creates multiple musical peaks that seamlessly connect with breakdowns that are equally musical and magical. We're talking about a track full of heroism and euphoria, telling a story — or rather, a tragedy. This is cinematic music at a very high level."


"The Storyteller" is the final track of the EP and serves as a fitting conclusion. It possesses a striking cinematic quality and its emotive soundscape feels like the perfect soundtrack for a movie yet to be made, leaving listeners with a lingering sense of wonder. As the closing chapter of the EP, it offers a reflective and immersive experience that resonates long after the music fades."
